Futbol Lingo Session
Year 10 and 11 learners enjoyed a 2.5 hour Futbol Lingo session at Northumbria University held in the Sports Central facility. They listened to a motivational talk from Pierce Kiembi and R'Mar Murray from Futbol Lingo about languages and careers in football and then participated in a classroom-based football and languages related activity and then a practical football activity in the Sports Hall.
This combination of motivational speaking, interactive learning, and practical application not only enhanced the understanding of the importance of languages in sports but also fosters teamwork and physical activity.
