Brave New World
The new arrival on the farm took her first steps towards independence today. Learners assisted with integration with the rest of the pygmy goat herd, all the females were allowed out into the field to give Mum and baby a chance to interact with the rest of the gang.
The learners were mindful of the dynamic of the herd and potential flashpoints for the new arrival. They worked effectively as a team, as well as having great fun.
