As part of a Careers themed day at Trinity Academy Newcastle the education team from Aptus Construction delivered a Green Construction Challenge: Team-Based Sustainability Design Project.
Challenge Overview
In this challenge, teams will explore the impact of housing developments on both the environment and the community. The task is to design and present a sustainable, mixed housing development that meets the needs of future residents while minimizing environmental impact.
🎯 Team Mission
As an eco-conscious planning and construction team:
- Design a sustainable model layout for a mixed-use housing development.
- Produce a physical or digital model showing your proposed design.
- Write a professional tender document to "pitch" your plan.
- Deliver a team presentation explaining your design and approach to stakeholders.
