Food Technology Delights
As part of their food technology curriculum, our nurture group created their own individualised pizzas. The lesson was not limited to food tech; they utilised their Preparing for Adulthood lesson to design a shopping list and budget, squeezing in some Maths too.
As well as that, they made their own dough, incorporating processes previously learnt in Science - yeast is amazing!
Finally, they went on to create their pizzas, selecting from a range of ingredients, based on their shopping list requests. The images speak for themselves - a delicious product and a truly cross-curricular learning experience.
