#GetOutside

Getting back to nature has been proven to support the mental health and wellbeing of everyone – all it takes is a little bit of time to #GetOutside.

At the Upper Site, the Outdoor Education Pathway has been reinvented for this academic year and we’re ‘branching out’ in nature giving our learners more opportunities and experiences than before.

The Forest School occupying a base in Brockwell Woods is still running and we’ve added in a National Trust Membership…we are going places!

With the wealth of history to explore in the local region, staff are sharing their personal experiences of the region with our learners, encouraging everyone to be adventurous; trips and visits will go on ‘no matter the weather’.

To top it all off, learners can be working towards accreditation with their Outdoor Education Pathway demonstrating the skills and knowledge they have learned throughout the year.

Our aim, at the end of this year is to host an overnight camp in Brockwell Woods for the learners participating in the Outdoor Education Pathway!
