Knives Down - Boots On!
Since its conception early in 2023, the knives down football club has gone from strength to strength. They have two regular training sessions every week to build on their skills, teamwork and values. The success of the club has been recognised by local businesses who have sponsored everything from training bibs, to pitch hire and most recently a new strip- many thanks to “Leader Education” and “We do football” for their generosity.
The lads have enjoyed inter-Trust competitions and are really excited for the end of term tournament at the Beacon of light which will involve eight schools.
Off the pitch they were thrilled to get their hands on some real footballing silver-ware, thanks to a visit from Gateshead Football Club along with their trophy!
