Violence Reduction Unit Visit
This week saw the first in a series of visits from the VRU team (Violence Reduction Unit). The focus of their visit was to share information and guidance about knife crime, including the legal implications of carrying bladed weapons, as well as the consequences, not only for the victim and perpetrator, but their wider families and communities.
The learners were engaged and respectful throughout, which not only impressed our staff but our visitors too. We look forward to John and the team returning next term and assisting us with our personal development programme.
