As part of our BTEC Sport delivery, the learners are undertaking a six - week training programme. They are planning two training sessions per week, which they then complete in our fitness suite. They have made an excellent start and are already showing improvements in their fitness.

As the rest of the group were out and about, Caine had a private art lesson. He decided that he wanted to draw characters from one of his favourite TV shows, Mr Bean.

Our newest Sanctuary learner has shown a keen interest in bugs and nature since he started this term, and so we have been out to the farm, looking up close in the bushes and trees around site as we searched for insects.

This week in school council we have discussed ways in which we can ‘take action’ this Clean Air Day. Most learners take a bus or walk to and from school, but there are other ways we can reduce air pollution.

This week, learners from key stage 3 participated in the first ever Wanderers Association tag rugby tournament. All the learners involved performed very well and displayed excellent behaviour throughout.
